Daniel Jamnik

Managing Director

Dan Jamnik began his career as a junior accountant for a small, NJ based company that imported canned goods. He quickly changed paths and was hired by a local CPA firm in their tax department, which eventually led to a career in Business Valuations and Litigation Support. Dan worked with clients on forensic matters including marital disputes, shareholder disputes, and personal and business analysis of finances in a variety of industries. Dan is a Certified Fraud Examiner who graduated from Stockton University in 2009. In his free time, he coaches his son’s soccer team and cheers on his daughter during her dance competitions.

Shari Lefkowitz

Accounting Manager

Shari Lefkowitz began her career working in corporate accounting at several large Wall Street investment firms for ten years. She has since worked at smaller CPA and bookkeeping firms providing a variety of services including bookkeeping, accounting, corporate and personal tax returns, sales tax and payroll returns for clients across a wide range of industries. Shari graduated from the State University at Albany with an accounting degree and earned her Master’s Degree in Finance from Baruch College.

Jadranka Suster

Bookkeeper

Jadranka Suster earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Brooklyn College. She has worked in the field for over 25 years, spending the majority of her career in the healthcare industry — including over 17 years performing accounting tasks at NY Presbyterian Hospital. In 2024, she relocated to New Jersey and joined the BBOS team.

Sally Bacharz

Bookkeeper

Sally Bacharz has been a Bookkeeper at BBOS since 2024. She obtained her Bachelor of Accountancy degree from The George Washington University and went on to work in Public Accounting, Financial Services, and eventually Human Resources. She is passionate about holistic health and started her own Homeopathy consulting practice during her years as a stay-at-home mom. In 2024, she found her way back to accounting with BBOS, where she provides accounting and bookkeeping services for clients across a wide range of industries. When she is not working hard for her clients, Sally can be found driving her kids around, cheering her daughter on at volleyball tournaments, and spoiling her dog with long walks at the beach.

Jill Lesnik

Bookkeeper

After graduating from The George Washington University with a BA in Communications, Jill Lesnik worked for 20+ years as a TV and Radio Media Buyer for various NYC advertising agencies. In 2011, she switched career paths to focus on Human Resources, overseeing onboarding, payroll, and benefit administration for 6+ years. Jill began sharpening her bookkeeping skills alongside her HR responsibilities in 2011 before moving solely into bookkeeping in 2019. She joined the BBOS team in 2022.

Claire Ortman

Bookkeeper

Claire earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Stockton University in 1988 and began her career in the financial services industry. From 1988 to 1997, she worked on the Junk Bond Trading Desk at NatWest Securities in New York City, gaining extensive experience in fixed-income markets, trading operations, and financial analysis. From 1998 to 2000, she served as a Retail Sales Assistant with PaineWebber in Morristown, NJ, supporting financial advisors and clients while developing her customer service skills within the investment industry. After starting a family, she dedicated several years to raising her three children as a full-time homemaker. In 2015, she expanded her expertise by studying bookkeeping and accounting principles at The Meglio Group CPA firm. During the pandemic, she was placed at one of the firm’s accounts — a wedding venue — where she worked in bookkeeping and administrative support from 2020 to 2024, managing financial records, accounts, and operational processes. When the venue closed in 2024, she found her way to BBOS.

Tam Nguyen

Bookkeeper

Tam Nguyen graduated in 2006 with a Master of Science in Accounting from Kean University. She began her accounting career in 2004 working for an Accounting & Tax practice in Elmwood Park, NJ. Tam spent the next 18+ years in the industry before joining BBOS in 2023. She is well organized, with excellent accounting and bookkeeping skills, and is a welcome addition to the team.

Jackie Taveras

Bookkeeper

Jackie’s career in finance began in 1992 when she accepted an internship with NatWest Bank in their Foreign Exchange Operations Department while attending LaGuardia Community College. Her career led to opportunities at Morgan Stanley, Société Générale, and Lehman Brothers. After Lehman’s closure in 2008, Jackie pivoted to bookkeeping, specializing in marketing and public relations — working with advertising agencies, production companies, and non-profits. She has been affiliated with BBOS since 2016.
